X Post DownloaderHow to save full-size photos from X
When you long-press a picture in the X app and save it, you often get a resized copy. X keeps a larger original on its servers, and that's the one this tool hands you.
Steps
- Copy the link to the post from X's share menu.
- Paste it on X Post Downloader. Each photo in the post gets its own card, up to four.
- Tap Download ยท Original on the ones you want. The card shows the full pixel size, so you know what you're getting.
File types
Most photos come as JPG. Screenshots and graphics are often PNG, which keeps text crisp. The file keeps whichever format the poster uploaded.
Respect the photographer
Photos belong to whoever took them. Saving one to look at later is fine, but ask before reposting, and credit the creator when you share.
